Monteverro Grappa is obtained from the pomace of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grapes from our estate.
The fresh pomace, gently pressed, is taken to the distillery within 24 hours to begin the distillation process using a traditional discontinuous system with small copper stills. From each distillation, only the so-called “heart” is selected, carrying with it a wealth of refined aromas.
The result of this age-old method is a smooth grappa with great aromatic variety and a bouquet of pomace, herbs, and flowers.
Our Grappa Riserva is aged for 3 years in Monteverro barriques, which give it elegance, harmony, and complexity.
Sold as a pair (2 bottles: white and riserva).
